La Mad Tatter began after one of the biggest turning points of my life.
In 2021, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Going through cancer changed the way I looked at time, fear, and all the things I kept telling myself I would do “someday.”
Life suddenly felt a lot shorter.
So after beating cancer’s ass in 2022, I started tattooing.
What began as a creative outlet became something that gave me purpose, connection, and a way to build a life that felt like mine again.
Originally, I built this business as The Mad Tatter, but as I grew, so did the brand. Changing the name to La Mad Tatter felt more like me. I’m proud of my Mexican Latina roots, and I wanted my business to reflect more of my identity, my culture, and the person behind the tattoos.
It’s still the same artist, the same heart, and the same slightly strange little world, just with a name that feels more personal.
Since then, La Mad Tatter has grown into pop-ups, weddings, private events, and countless meaningful little moments with people who trust me with something permanent.
Some tattoos carry deep stories. Some are simply fun.
To me, they all represent the same thing: being here, choosing joy, honoring who you are, and making the most of the time we have.
That is a huge part of why La Mad Tatter exists.

At La Mad Tatter, I believe tattoos are more than body art. They are memories, milestones, little pieces of personality, and sometimes simply something that makes you smile every time you see it.
My goal is to make getting tattooed feel approachable, personal, and memorable. Whether you find me at a pop-up, book me for your wedding or private event, or come in for a piece created just for you, I want the experience to feel just as special as the tattoo you leave with.
I specialize in fine line, blackwork, minis, flash, and custom pieces with a love for the whimsical, nostalgic, spooky, and slightly unexpected. Every design is created or curated with intention while still leaving room for personality, creativity, and a little Wonderland magic.
La Mad Tatter has grown into more than just tattooing. It is about showing up in the community, creating experiences people remember, celebrating big moments, and giving people permanent little keepsakes from chapters of their lives.
Because sometimes the smallest tattoo carries the biggest story.
